Policies
1. By making a booking for a SnowRiders trip you confirm that you are 18+ years old or accompanied by a parent/guardian.
2. Our Tour Leaders reserve the right to remove any customer from the bus at any time with no refund if they feel a customer is negatively affecting the operation of the trip. By booking this trip you agree not to bring or consume alcohol on the bus, smoke on the bus, or engage in any illegal activity on the bus. Failure to comply with these rules will result in your removal from the bus, at your own expense, with no refund.
3. For each trip you are required to enter the names of each person you are booking for. Failure to provide these names may result in your friends/family/self not being allowed on the bus, into the hotel, and/or to receive a lift ticket, with no refund. We must confirm that those who come on a trip are in fact those who booked. We check ID on the bus to confirm your name.
4. You must remain on the bus until you have received your lift ticket and other services from the Tour Leader. Failure to comply may result in you not receiving a lift ticket, with no refund.
5. SnowRiders reserves the right to cancel any trip, for any reason, at any time. Typically cancellation occurs when weather is too severe. When SnowRiders cancels a trip, you can be fully refunded. Alternatively, you can select to receive a SnowRiders Credit, worth more than the face value of the trip you booked previously.
6. If the mountain closes operations or you choose to return your lift ticket for any reason, you must contact the Customer Service center for the mountain you are at. Once SnowRiders provides your lift ticket, it is your responsibility to conform to the guidelines of that ticket and to handle all returns and transfers.
7. If you miss the SnowRiders bus for any reason you are responsible for your own transportation. Our buses must leave on schedule, and cannot wait for stragglers. If you are not at the bus on time, you may be left at your own expense.
Returns/Cancelations
Overnight Trips
For overnight trips, we can provide full refunds up until 21 days prior to the trip, with a $50 administrative cancellation fee. All trips are non-refundable within 21 days of a trip.
You can choose to have someone take your place by emailing info@thesnowriders.com. Include in the title "[Date] [Mountain] Ski Vacation" and in the body your name, the name of who you are switching with, and their mobile phone number. We will inform you if we are able to switch your seat. There is a $25 per switch handling fee for any switches.
One Day Trips
For one day trips, we do not offer refunds on your purchase unless we cancel the trip.
We can offer a switch based on the following options:
1. You can transfer the value of your canceled bookin to a another SnowRiders trip
2a. Switch with a new customer, provided we can find another customer on our wait list before the trip begins. If you want to cancel, please email info@thesnowriders.com with all of your booking information and the Email Subject: "[Date] [Mountain] Day Trip". We will inform you if we are able to switch your seat.
2b. If you have someone to take your place, send us the same email and provide your name, the person’s name who is taking your place and their mobile phone number. We will inform you if we are able to switch your seat.
3. There is a $10 per seat switching fee for any switches.
